1. Overview of the Credit Exchange Program

Application Process

  1. Go to [Trinity] – [Academic Info] – [Classes/Grades] – [Classes] – [Domestic Credit Exchange Application (Catholic Universities)] and fill out the application.

  2. Go to [Trinity] – [Academic Info] – [Classes/Grades] – [Classes] – [Domestic Credit Exchange – Credit Approval] and complete the credit approval request. Print the necessary forms.

  3. Submit two printed documents to the Academic Support Team with the signature/seal of the department chair or major advisor:
      ① Credit Recognition Application Form
      ② Consent Form for Collection and Use of Personal Information

Eligibility

  1. Students who have completed at least one academic year

  2. Students with no disciplinary record under university regulations

  3. Not available to students in their final semester before graduation

Course Selection and Limits

  1. Students may take any open course at the host university. It is also allowed to take courses only at the host university.
      (Note: Teacher certification and license-related courses must be taken at our university.)

  2. Courses already completed at the home university cannot be retaken through exchange.

  3. Retaking a course previously completed at the home university is only allowed at the home university (not through exchange).

Credit Limit

  1. Students may apply for up to 6 credits in total, including credits from summer session, language institute courses, overseas language programs, and exchange credits.

  2. Courses that are retaken due to receiving a grade of C0 or lower at the home university are excluded from credit exchange.

Course Registration & Modification
 Please refer to the credit exchange guideline from each university.

Tuition Payment
 Tuition must be paid directly to the host university. See each university’s credit exchange notice for details.

Facility Use
 Refer to the host university’s credit exchange guidelines.

※ You must submit the printed application at least 3 weekdays before the deadline date (e.g., if deadline is May 16 (Fri), submission must be completed by May 14 (Wed)).


3. Application for Credit Exchange and Credit Recognition

Credit Exchange Application
 Refer to the attached guide (Application screen & instructions for Catholic university exchange)

Credit Recognition Application

  1. Required document: "Credit Recognition Application Form"

  2. Submission deadline: 3 weekdays prior to the deadline listed in the university table above

  3. Enter credit recognition details in Trinity system (upload host university syllabus)
      → Obtain department chair’s signature → Submit in person to the Academic Support Team

Important Notes

  1. The actual course registration at the host university must match the credit recognition request.

  2. If cancelling the exchange, you must cancel the request in Trinity and notify both the host and home universities if already registered at the host.

  3. Delays in grade submission from the host university may affect scholarship eligibility, academic warnings, dormitory applications, and graduation. Please take this into account.
