Application Guide for New, Change, or Withdrawal of Student-Designed Major in 2025 Fall Semester

We would like to guide you through the application process for the new, change, or withdrawal of the Student-Designed Major as follows.

Students who wish to apply should do so within the designated period.

• Below -

1. Eligibility: Students enrolled for at least 2 semesters (However, students in their 8th semester (last semester) are eligible if they plan to enroll in an extra semester)

2. Application Period: Oct. 27, 2025 (Mon) ~ Nov. 14, 2025 (Fri)

3. How to Apply (Refer to the Student-Designed Major Guidebook)

• New: Apply on Trinity and submit documents

• Change/Withdrawal: Fill out the relevant application form and submit documents

4. Selection Procedure: Application Submission > Document and Course Review > Student-Designed Major Review Committee > University Affairs Committee > Final Selection and Announcement

5. Evaluation Criteria: Career plan and reason for application, suitability of the major name, consistency between the major and the curriculum, etc.

6. Results Announcement: Individually notified at the end of December

7. Other: Hosting the 2025 Fall Semester Student-Designed Major Information Session

• Date & Time: Oct. 28 (Tue), 4:30 PM ~ 5:30 PM

• Location: The Catholic University of Korea Central Library Conference Room
