Internship Benefits

Benefits are granted based on the comprehensive evaluation results of the internship:

  1. Top Performers: Exemption from document screening, written test, and working-level interview stages during new employee recruitment.

  2. Excellent Performers: Exemption from document screening and written test stages during new employee recruitment.

  3. Completed Interns: Exemption from document screening stage during new employee recruitment.

  • Benefits are granted only to those who successfully complete the internship.

  • Internship benefits can be used only once within 2 years from the completion date.

  • If the bank is unable to conduct new employee recruitment within 2 years from the completion date due to bank circumstances, the internship benefits will be granted only for the first recruitment conducted after completion.

  • Internship benefits are applicable only when the internship division and the new employee recruitment application division are the same.

  • Fixed-term employee (8 hours per day, 5 days a week)

Internship Recruitment Divisions/Number of People

  • General: OJT (On-the-Job Training) in head office departments and branches such as Personal Banking, Corporate Banking, Global Banking, Wealth Management, etc.

  • Digital/ICT: OJT in head office departments and branches such as Digital Service Planning, Data Analysis, Platform/Channel Development, Account/Core Banking Development, etc.

  2. Must be able to submit at least one valid score from


    • TOEIC

    • TOEIC Speaking

    • TOEFL iBT

    • Only test scores whose validity period extends beyond the application deadline will be accepted.

    • “My Best Scores” for TOEFL iBT are not accepted.

    • Applicants who are exempted from the document‐screening stage under preferential hiring schemes are not required to submit an English proficiency score.

  3. Must be available for full-time work throughout the internship period.

  4. Must have no impediment to international travel
     (For male applicants: must have completed military service or have been officially exempted as of June 30, 2025.)

  5. Must have no other disqualifying factors for internship participation.

Internship Details

  • Location & Period: Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and Incheon offices; July 24, 2025 (Thu) – August 27, 2025 (Wed) (tentative)

  • Employment Type & Hours: Fixed-term contract; 8 hours per day, 5 days per week

  • Compensation: Approx. KRW 2,640,000 (pre-tax) for the entire internship period

  • Selection for Internship Benefits: Interns will be evaluated on branch on-the-job training (OJT), team/individual project performance, and overall internship performance; outstanding interns may receive further opportunities or benefits.




Additional Information

  • If any information in your application is found to be false or if you fail to submit required supporting documents, your acceptance may be revoked.

  • Any supporting documents for internship applications must be submitted at the time of the practical (BEI/PT) interview if you are invited. Submitted documents will be returned within 14 days after the practical interview results are announced; documents will be destroyed if you decline the internship or fail to pass.

  • As of the application deadline, current employees of Hana Financial Group are not eligible to apply; if discovered post-application, your acceptance will be canceled.

  • During the internship period, poor attendance or unsatisfactory completion of assigned tasks may result in no credit or termination.

  • If any misconduct (e.g., falsification, bribery) is discovered at any stage, your internship offer or participation may be revoked, and future applications may be restricted. The Bank will take remedial measures—such as providing another chance in the next recruitment cycle—to compensate any directly affected applicants.

  • If your health check indicates that you are unable to perform normal duties, your offer or internship may be canceled.
