On January 26, the Songsim Alumni Association hosted “2024 CUK Family Night” in the Conference Room of Kim Sou-hwan Hall, which was attended by 140 school members and alumni.

“Even though the population of students is constantly decreasing, this university’s ability to maintain competitiveness is due to everyone’s endeavor here," said President Won in his congratulatory speech. He added, "I hope you will witness how your home, CUK, has developed over the years and feel the pride while enjoying this place of harmony.”.

It was followed by an award ceremony that honored the alumni who strove for the advancement of the university. Yoo Hee-ju (Biology) received the Achievement Award for her contribution to serving the organization as its 30th and 31st Chairperson and Lee Geun-hyung (Food Science and Nutrition) received the Songsim Award for elevating the reputation of the university with her contribution to society with her 30 years of research and publication in the NGO “Taste of Korea.” On top of them, a total of 13 alumni received the Honorable Alumni Awards for their contribution to the development of the university in 2023.

Aside from the award ceremony, through the report and briefing of the vision for the association and the presentation of CUK performance results of 2023, the participants were able to discuss the future directions for the university and association.

Along with the alumni opera concert and a raffle, the event came to a successful end.
