Information on the Construction Work in the Central Library to Establish <CUK Innovation Hub> 

As part of the University Innovation Support Project, we would like to inform you of the construction work inside the Central Library to establish the <CUK Innovation HUB>.

In order to support smart educational activities and promote independent research culture as part of the [University Innovation Support Project], some parts of the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor of the Central Library will be renovated from Friday, January 19 to March 2024.

The current check-out area and a part of Reading Room 1 on the 2nd floor and some areas of the 3rd floor will be restricted due to construction, and we ask for your understanding as there may be noise, dust, and the building may shake.

Also, some areas of the outdoor parking lot behind Michael Hall will be closed off due to the transfer of construction materials and the access of construction vehicles.

1. Construction area: Check-out area and Reading Room 1 on the 2nd floor and the entire areas of the 3rd floor

2. Construction period: Friday, January 19 to Sunday, March 31, 2024 (Tentative)

* Asbestos removal: Friday, January 19 to Tuesday, January 23, 2024

* Demolition work: Saturday, January 24 to Thursday, February 8 (There will be noise, dust, and floor shake)

* Renovation: Tuesday, February 13 to Sunday, March 31, 2024

3. Please be advised that some areas of the outdoor parking lot behind Michael Hall will be closed off during the construction period. We ask for your understanding.
