<Catholic University of Korea <「CUK - MASCOT & LOGO」 Contest> to Be Held

The University Development Team of CUK's University Development Promotion Department is holding a university mascot and logo contest for all students and staff. We ask for your enthusiastic participation

1. MASCOT

A contest to select a mascot (character) that represents the school

2. LOGO

A contest for the design of a logo that incorporates the school's symbols and the word ""Catholic""

<Application Period>

March 20 - May 19

※ An additional notice regarding the preliminary voting round and the final round will be made later.

<Eligibility>

CUK students (undergraduates, students on leave, graduate students, and those who graduated)

All staff of CUK (faculty and clerical staff)

<Selection Method>

Announcement of contest -> preliminary voting (online) -> final round presentation -> final selection -> award ceremony

<Selection Criteria>

① Authenticity and difference

② Actual applicability

③ Products in keeping with catholic spirits and capable of imbuing catholic identity

<Prize Money>

MASCOT

- Grand Prize: KRW 1,000,000

- Excellence Prize: KRW 500,000

- Encouragement Prize: KRW 250,000

LOGO

- Excellence Prize: KRW 500,000

- Encouragement Prize: KRW 250,000

※ ① mandatory submission, ②,③ mandatory submission depending on which contest you enter

※ All files should be converted to PDF format before submitting

※ You cannot compete in both the mascot and logo competitions.

※ These competitions are also open to Songeui and Songsin campus students.

※ Even if your piece of work wins, its use as a mascot could be limited.

※ If the submitted works fall below the screening criteria, there may be no winners.

※ Please be aware that the submitted works to the contest may be subject to copyright ownership by the Catholic University of Korea, as stated in the copyright consent form.
