"[Center for Teaching & Learning] International Students’ SOS Class Open for Spring Semester of 2023

Hello, all international students at the Catholic University of Korea.

This is the Center for Teaching & Learning.

We are pleased to present the International Students’ SOS Class for spring semester of 2023!

International Students’ SOS Class is a peer-tutoring program designed to help our international students with their studies and learning. 

Please sign up if you need assistance with Korean or your classes during the spring semester of 2023. 

We will match you with an excellent tutor to assist you with your studies.

You can sign up at any time during the 2023 spring semester if you need help.

We look forward to enthusiastic participation of international students.

1. Eligibility

• International undergraduate students (including exchange students) for the spring semester of 2023 

- Students on leave are not eligible

2. Benefits for SOS Class Participants

• Assign 10 ELP points

※ If the total hours of study are less than 10 hours, no ELP point benefits will be provided.

3. Activities 

• Learning hours: basically within 20 hours

• Tutoring period: After approval - Friday, June 9

※ For the spring semester of 2023, activities will be primarily conducted in person. [Online activities will be carried out only if there are inevitable reasons (e.g., confirmed COVID-19 cases)]

4. Application Details

• Documents Submission

   - Application Areas: Basic Korean (reading, writing, speaking, etc.), subjects for the spring semester of 2023, other necessary fields in need of support

   - Application Period: Open throughout the spring semester of 2023.

   - How to Apply: Fill out the attached application form and send via email (ctl-learning@catholic.ac.kr)

5. Things to Note When Applying

• When submitting an application form, it is mandatory to fill in all blanks and check and sign the "Agreement on the Collection and Use of Personal Information.”

• Email title and the file name for the application form: (Name) Spring 2023 International SOS Class Application Form
