Top 4 universities in Seoul... Ministry of Education awarded the "Promising Student Entrepreneurship Team 300" certificate

Eight teams became the finalist in the nationwide student start-up contest... 4th place among universities in Seoul based on the number of students

Twenty-one of our students achieved remarkable results in the most prominent student entrepreneurship competition. In the "Promising Student Entrepreneurship Team 300" competition hosted by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science and ICT, eight teams and 21 students from the start-up clubs fostered by the Catholic University of Korea (CUK) became the finalists with excellent start-up capabilities. As a result, CUK ranked 4th among universities in the Seoul area (based on the number of participants)."Promising Student Entrepreneurship Team 300" is an annual start-up contest to discover promising student start-up teams with innovative ideas and technologies and inspire their sense of challenge. A total of 990 teams from all over the country participated in this year's competition, and after fierce competition, 283 teams were finally selected.In this competition, 21 students from eight teams, △Rossetters △EolSsaAnGo △Yerohae △JobTuri △Timeout △CycLeaf △Eco Wave △Team LiFoli, were finally selected and awarded the certificates. The students were highly valued for their creativity by presenting entrepreneurial ideas such as personal data analysis and utilization platforms, fallen fruit smoothie vending machines, and shared closet subscription services.Moreover, the team, CycLeaf, was recognized for its outstanding capability and advanced to the "Challenge! K-Startup 2022" finals. "Challenge! K-Startup 2022" is the largest pan-governmental start-up competition held jointly by 11 government ministries, including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Team Lifoli topped in the mock investment competition and earned the opportunity to participate in the student startup product exhibition at the "2022 Industry-University Cooperation EXPO" held on November 2nd.CUK's efforts to nurture future entrepreneurs led the school to achieve excellent results in the "Promising Student Entrepreneurship Team 300"  competition every year.
