Notice of Scheduled Power Outage on Campus (Partial power outage for inspection according to the law on December 18 (Sun) 09:00 to 12:00)

1. Reason
- Pursuant to Electrical Safety Management Act Article 11-1, "An electric utility business entity and an owner or occupant of electric installations for private use shall undergo periodical inspections conducted by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy or the competent Mayor/Governor on electric facilities prescribed by Ordinance of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy."

2. Accordingly, a power outage at some of the buildings on the campus is scheduled to conduct the inspection.  

A. Date: December 18, 2022 Sunday

B. Time and Buildings Time: December 18, 2022 (Sun) 09:00 to 12:00 Buildings: Science Hall, Sophie Barat Hall, Michael Hall (including Faculty Building), Veritas Hall (Central Library), Concert Hall, International House, and Presbytery

1) During a power outage in each building, the door security remains unlocked. Please carry out valuables from offices and private laboratories to other places before the power outage takes place.    

2) Please take preventive measures for the experimental equipment that requires a constant power supply, such as experimental apparatus or culture, freezing, and storage facilities, to avoid damaging the research and experiment activities.    

3) When leaving the building before a power outage, please unplug electronic devices such as computers and laboratory equipment.    

 4) You may not be able to use mobile phones and extension phones in buildings due to power outages.     5) We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation.
