• Seongeui Research Excellence Award and Teresa Yoo Seon-hee Cancer Research Award for Faculty

  •  On the afternoon of June 15, an award ceremony for 2022 Seongeui Research Excellence Award and Teresa Yoo Seon-hee Cancer Research Award was held.


    Seongeui Campus Research Office administers annual prizes to recognize and encourage faculty with outstanding research accomplishments.


    Professor Jang Ki-yuk (Department of Cardiology, Seoul St. Mary's Hospital) was awarded this year's “Seongui Excellent Researcher Award” and “Seongeui Best Paper Award.” Professor Koo Hee-beom (Department of Medical Life Sciences, College of Medicine) received the newly founded “Seongeui Paper Citation Award” this year.

     

    Associate Professor Choi Yoon-Jin (Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Seoul St. Mary's Hospital) and Assistant Professor Choi Moon-Hyeong (Department of Radiology, Eunpyeong St. Mary's Hospital) were awarded at the “Teresa Yoo Seon-hee Cancer Research Academic Award Ceremony” held on the same day.

    This academic award was founded in 2012 with research funds provided by the family of the deceased to the University's Medical College to commemorate the deceased who died of breast cancer.. Winners are chosen based on their contributions to the advancement of cancer research.



    * Seongeui Excellent Researcher Award: Faculty with the highest cumulative IF score for SCI-level paper published in the preceding year

    * Seongeui Best Paper Award: Paper with the highest impact factor (IF) among SCI-level papers published in the preceding year

    * Seongeui Paper Citation Award (created in 2022): Professor with the greatest cumulative number of paper citations from the preceding year
