An Appreciation Plaque Ceremony for Alumna, Ahn, Jang-mi (English Literature 77) was held at the University President's Office on January 20 (Thu.) afternoon. Following her mother's last will, Alumna Ahn recently donated KRW 100 million for the school's development.

Alumna Ahn served as chairperson of Songsim Alumni for three years and has always been interested in her alma mater's development, so she has already donated around KRW 50 million to the Support Project Fund for North Korean Defectors, Research Fund for the Stephen Cardinal Kim Institute, and the Globalization Fund.

Alumna Ahn requested that the contribution be used to assist students in need as well as the advancement of the university. She also stated that "What we have to pursue in our life is 'common good,' and to actualize it, the first thing that should spring to mind is a donation.”
