Last 15th, Professor Emeritus Cho, Do-soon in Life Science Department was appointed the Head of the National Institute of Ecology, which is under the Ministry of Environment. His job as the head is expected to start right after his inauguration on 23, and he will serve for three years.

Professor Cho has been teaching life science in the university since 1990, and he served as the President of The Ecological Society of Korea and a member of the International Advisory Committee for Biosphere Reserves of UNESCO. Currently, he is the non-executive director of the National Institute of Ecology and co-chairman of MAB National Committee of the Republic of Korea.
