“The 1st CUK Oscar Award - Contest of video clips for introducing my department” was held at Michael Hall, on 21st. The judging committee has received total 30 entry clips for two months since last March and selected 5 clips from them: Dept. of Consumer and Housing (1st Prize), School of Media Technology and Media Contents (2nd Prize), Dept. of Korean History (3rd Prize), and Dept. of Food Science and Nutrition and School of Media Technology and Media Contents (Participation Prizes).

 Park Su-bin, the 1st Prize winner and student of Dept. of Consumer and Housing, said, “The clip focuses on my questions about my department I had in my high school years and introduces special merits of the department. It was so worthy to have myself an opportunity to introduce my department.” 

 University President Won Jong-cheol said at the prizing ceremony, “I appreciate all the ardor the participants have shown to introduce their majors in such short period. This CUK Oscar Award will be our annual event as an opportunity for the students to find and wake their potential inside and introduce their departments at the same time.” 

 All the entries of the “1st CUK Oscar Award - Contest of video clips for introducing my department” are now open to the public at the official Youtube channel of Catholic University.
