On may 1st, A total of 90 students and faculty members of CUK Caritas Volunteers volunteered to clean up the environment around Sungsim Campus and Yeokgok Station. In compliance with the government quarantine guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the volunteer activity was performed in groups of 4 practicing social distancing after all participants wore a mask and sanitary gloves. 

All students and faculty members who participated in the volunteer activity this day ▲cleaned up the environment from around Yeokgok Station located nearby the CUK to Sungsim Campus and the surrounding streets and ▲ cleaned up the campus environment and facilities including outdoor tables, etc. frequently used by students.

The university founded the “Caritas Volunteers” consisting of students and faculty members in 2015 to practice the philosophy of truth, love, and service and to contribute to local communities. The volunteers have been continuing their service activities which include ▲Lunch box delivery to senior citizens living alone, ▲academic support activities for the youth, ▲cleaning the local community environment, ▲Rice sharing service, etc.
