About 90 people consisting of students and faculty from the school participated in “The 8th Briquette Sharing with Caritas Volunteers” at Sungui-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon-si on the morning of the 20th.

A total of 7,000 briquettes were delivered to the disadvantaged in local communities such as senior citizens living alone and beneficiaries of public assistance through the event on this day. The briquettes were purchased with donations collected through campus fundraising activities in December 2020.

The school has founded the “Caritas Volunteers” consisting of students and faculty in 2015 to practice the philosophy of truth, love, and service and to contribute to local communities. The volunteers started with volunteer work at nearby senior centers and have continued their volunteer activities through ▲Lunch box delivery to senior citizens living alone, ▲Youth academic support activities, ▲Local community cleaning service, ▲Rice sharing service, etc.

Meanwhile, the volunteer activities on this day commenced with permission from the local government in compliance with the government quarantine policies for the prevention of COVID-19.
