    The CUK and SergiNex signed an agreement for the development of new medicine using AI technology. The Catholic University of Korea signed a business agreement for new medical development technology transfer on the 15th (Mon) with the medical and pharmaceutical R&D company SergiNex
     
    The technology transferred is the “technology for designing a new medical development platform using AI” developed by Lee Jin-seok, Professor of the Artificial Intelligence Department of the Catholic University of Korea and the Business Administration Department Professor Lee Hong-ju. Through the technology transfer, SergiNex is expected to be able to shorten the process of new medicine development utilizing the technology for the dissolution agent for gallstone.


    After the technology transfer, the two institutions will continue their cooperation by: follow-up projects; collaborative research between LINC+ and SergiNex; and nurturing research personnel.


    Meanwhile, President Fr. Luke Won Jongchul met with representatives from SergiNex in an office after the ceremony to share opinions regarding industry-university collaboration and the betterment of the university.
