The Catholic University of Korea has been newly designated as a TOPIK implementation institution, and the test is organized by the National Institute for International Education (the Ministry of Education).
The Catholic University of Korea was selected as an implementation institution after receiving excellent evaluations in regional accessibility, test environment, operational capacity. The 74th Test of Proficiency in Korean (which is scheduled in January 2021) will be held at CUK. The application period will begin on December 8, 2020.
The Test of Proficiency in Korean is an examination aimed at presenting Korean learning directions and expanding the distribution of Korean to overseas Koreans and foreigners who do not speak Korean as their first language. The test is widely used for foreigners who study abroad and their employment.
Currently, in Seoul, there are 13 institutions that conduct TOPIK, 16 in Gyeonggi and Incheon, and 63 in other regions.
