    Coding Club “COMA”

COMA is an abbreviation for COntrol MAster. It is a club where students learn IT-related knowledge through studies on various hardware and software and participate in extracurricular activities such as academic exhibitions, competitions, and contests with their club friends based on the learned knowledge, thereby accumulating various experiences and unique memories. Every semester, we collect the opinions from members to carry out various studies such as Python, C, C++, java, and Arduino, and participate in various competitions held in and out of school. At one time, it started as a conference for the Faculty of Information & Communications and Electronic Engineering department, and now it is the only central IT club in the school, and about 150 students from various departments are accumulating memories of COMA.

COMA regularly meets twice a week. At one time, we conduct a study on the subject or idea desired by the members, and on other days at a general meeting, we introduce extracurricular activities and announce the progress of each study. Also, we carry out various activities that club members can enjoy, such as participating in school festivals or going on group outings on an irregular basis. Everyone knows the importance of coding, but getting started is difficult for everyone. Of course, I think the first time is difficult in everything. I was, too, and I think most of the students had such concerns when they joined the club. However, I believe that if you break through your phobia and make efforts to learn, each day will build up, and you will surely become a great person who can code well. Particularly, if you join our club and study together, those days can come sooner.

COMA participates in academic festivals with a variety of projects during the year. The game “Taking in the Silver Lights”, a recent project, remains a good memory for me as well as for all members. I remember writing over a thousand lines of codes until late nights with my skills that I lacked at the time, but I think I improved as much as I struggled, so I think it became the most memorable experience. "COMA is a club that boasts of challenge and consistency. Since skills are completed by these two things rather than by nature, I think anyone can reach closer to the top if they do their best. We're recruiting passionate individuals every semester, so if you're interested, please apply!"
