Cancellation of 2020 19th International Volunteer Group of Catholic University of Korea

There are currently 1.6 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 100-thousand deaths and it is a world-wide pandemic.

Also, in Laos, which was the designated country for the 19th volunteer group, there was the first confirmed case of the virus on March 24th and now there are around 160-thousand reported cases.

Therefore, considering the gravity of the issue and putting the safety of our students as our priority, we have decided to cancel the trip for the 19th volunteer group of 2020.

When in the future the situation dies down and it becomes possible to carry out the volunteer work in 2021, those who registered this year will also be considered for next year with extra points, should you wish to participate.
