Catholic University has been selected as part of the “2020 Leading University for Social Economy Project” hosted by the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

This project aims to cultivate key social economic talents required by local and on-site social economic organizations by utilizing the professional education infrastructure of the university, and to enable the university to lead social economic education as a base for community innovation.

The leader of this project, Professor June-Young Rha of the Entrepreneurship Research Institute, claimed that “through this project, we aim to operate various curricular and extracurricular programs to enable students to grow interest in the fields of social innovation and economy.”
