For the first time this year, the university participated in “2021 THE World University Rankings“ conducted by Times Higher Education (THE), the world’s third-largest university ranking institution, and ranked 23rd in Korea.

This year’s THE World University Rankings conducted a weighted evaluation on △learning conditions (30%), △research capabilities (30%), △thesis citation (30%), △internationalization (7.5%), and △industry-university collaboration (2.5%) for 1500 universities in 93 countries.

The university achieved excellent results, ranking 20th in the learning conditions category. This seems to be the result of the university’s consistent effort to expand full-time faculty and attract doctoral students.

Meanwhile, the university continues to rise in rankings in various world university evaluations. It ranked 13th in Korea in the “QS World University Rankings“ announced in June and 11th in Korea in the “2020 Leiden Ranking“ announced in July.
