Welcoming speech by Luke Jongchul Won

“Public-Private-Academy Governance Conference 2019” was held on 3th at the  reception room in Michael Hall under theme of  <Bucheon City questions coexistence while Catholic University comes up with an answer of symbiosis> The conference began with the welcoming speech by Luke Jongchul Won, Ed.D., followed by △ the opening speech “The Role of Bucheon City for Local Innovation” by Deok-cheon JANG, the mayor of Bucheon city △ the keynote speech “The Role of Universities And Local Innovation Governance” by Ha Seung Chang, the Senior Secretary to the President for Social Innovation and after that discussion sessions were held on how to invigorate Bucheon city and to cooperate for a balanced development.  The conference is part of a campaign “Finding Social Entrepreneurship”, commemorating the launch of “Entrepreneurship Center”, organized by LINC+ Business Department and Social Economic Center of Bucheon City, Bucheon Cultural Foundation, and hosted by Entrepreneurship Center and Social Innovation Center of Catholic University.
