On November 3 (Mon), the 24th Korea Safety Awards ceremony took place at the International Conference Hall of the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.
The event was organized to honor the contributions of companies, individuals, and organizations that have taken the lead in protecting citizens’ lives and property, while promoting outstanding safety management practices.

Hosted by the National Fire Agency and sponsored by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the ceremony was attended by more than 200 participants, including award-winning companies and government officials.

Lee Hong-ju and Nam Yu-bin of “Media Firefighters” from The Catholic University of Korea received the President’s Award of the Korea Fire Safety Institute for their short-form video series personifying fire safety equipment. Their creative storytelling conveyed the importance of fire prevention and facility inspection from the perspective of the equipment itself.
Awardee Lee Hong-ju stated, “We hope our video encourages people to check their fire safety equipment,” while Nam Yu-bin added, “We wish this project helps many realize the importance of fire safety.”
