170th Anniversary – Appreciation Day for Environmental & Safety Managers Held

On Tuesday, October 28, the university held the “Appreciation Day for Environmental and Safety Managers” in the campus conference room.
The event was organized to express gratitude to those who have dedicated their efforts to maintaining the university’s environmental and safety standards, and to recognize their hard work and commitment.

The event was attended by President Joonkyu Choi, six university executives, staff members from the Facilities Management Team and Construction Headquarters Architecture Team, as well as representatives from Hi Parking Co., Ltd., Dongwon Construction Industry Co., Ltd., Sammu INC, Elletech, and Foodist Co., Ltd., totaling around 137 participants.

The first part began with a prayer by Fr. Ahn Soo-bae, followed by a special lecture titled “Movement and Health: Protecting Your Body at Work” delivered by Jae-bum Hwang, CEO of Movement Company. Participants learned useful stretching exercises and proper posture techniques for maintaining health and safety in daily life.




The second part featured a video presentation and message ceremony expressing appreciation to those who have contributed to the university’s safety and development.

In his congratulatory address, President Choi stated, “I hope our community continues to grow as a warm, caring place centered on safety, frugality, and beauty.”



The event concluded with a ‘Hidden Hero’ Appreciation Award ceremony, where participants encouraged one another and shared a friendly luncheon.
This meaningful occasion provided an opportunity to convey gratitude to those who work tirelessly for the university’s safety and environment, while strengthening unity and cooperation among all members of the community.
