   • Project Name: 2025 Local Care Support Program Linked with University Student Volunteers (KRA Local Care) in collaboration with Korea Racing Authority * This is a support program that provides an academic encouragement fund to selected scholarship recipients if they volunteer for 100 hours or more in the Gyeonggi-do area during the vacation. (Concurrent participation with the Korea Student Aid Foundation's University Student Youth Education Support Program or departmental volunteer activities is not permitted.)

   • Activity (Volunteer) Period: December 22, 2025 ~ February 28, 2026

   • Organizer: Rural Community Hope Foundation / Sponsor: Korea Racing Authority

   • Activity Institutions: Regional Children’s Centers located in Gyeonggi-do (※ Activities in other cities/provinces are not recognized)

   • Number of Recipients: Approximately 29 individuals

   • Scholarship: 1,300,000 KRW per person (Living expense type, unrelated to tuition / Can be received concurrently with other scholarships)

   • Excellent Volunteers: Separate commendation awarded to up to 5 individuals (2 Korea Racing Authority President's Awards, 3 Rural Community Hope Foundation Chairman's Awards)

   • Activity Details: Learning, reading, play assistance, and emotional support for children. ※ Simple administrative work is not recognized.

   • Recognized Hours:

     • Maximum 8 hours per day, night-time (after 18:00) volunteering is not recognized.

     • Only activities performed after selection are recognized.

   • Volunteer Center Arrangement:

   • 
     

     • The applicant must directly arrange an institution within Gyeonggi-do (The student applicant arranges it themselves).

     • Only institutions registered on the '1365 Volunteer Portal' or 'VMS' are recognized.

     • It is essential to inquire about the possibility of activities with the regional children's center you wish to volunteer at in advance.
