2025 Humanities 100-Year Scholarship Temporary Support (One-Semester Support) Type Selection Notice The Humanities 100-Year Scholarship was established to support outstanding students in the humanities and social sciences by providing academic funding, thereby fostering talent equipped with humanities literacy.
1. Selection Plan
A. Application Period: 2025.11.10. (Mon) ~ 2025.11.14. (Fri) until 17:00
B. Required Documents:
Scholarship Application Form (Attached) 1 copy
Academic Transcript 1 copy
Certificate of Enrollment 1 copy
Personal Information Consent Form (Attached) 1 copy
C. Submission Method: In-person submission to the Student Affairs Team (Nicholls Hall 109)
D. Submission Hours: Monday ~ Friday (09:00 ~ 17:00 / Excluding lunch break 12:00~13:00)
E. Recommended (Selected) Students: 13 people
F. Scholarship Amount: Full tuition for the 2025-2 semester
2. Eligibility
A. Applicant Qualifications (Based on the Korea Student Aid Foundation (KOSAF) Scholarship Selection Guidelines):
Must hold Republic of Korea nationality (Excluding those who reported overseas migration or have permanent residency status on their resident registration)
Currently enrolled students in the Humanities & Social Science Division in their 3rd or 4th year who have not been previously selected as a Humanities 100-Year Scholar.
Academic Performance Standard: Must have achieved a score of 90 percentile or higher, or a GPA of 3.6 or higher in the previous semester.
Credits Earned: Must have earned 12 credits or more in the previous semester.
Academic Status: Only currently enrolled students are eligible.
Limited to grades earned in the 2025-1 semester.
Students whose 2025-1 semester grades were not calculated due to reasons such as leave of absence or exchange student status are excluded.
If the 2025-2 semester is the student's final semester (including early graduates), a minimum of 3 credits must have been earned in the previous semester.
B. Exclusion Criteria:
Individuals currently maintaining the Humanities 100-Year Scholarship qualification in the 2025-2 semester.
Individuals whose Humanities 100-Year Scholarship support has ended as of the 2025-2 semester (due to early graduation, regular graduation, end of payment) but who are currently enrolled due to reasons such as a double major or failure to graduate (those exceeding the regular semesters).
Individuals permanently disqualified from the Humanities 100-Year Scholarship as of the 2025-2 semester (Withdrawal, Expulsion, accumulation of 2 consecutive instances of failure to meet academic standards, those who failed the Scholar Mid-term Evaluation (2+2), etc.).
Recipients of tuition-based scholarships for the 2025-2 semester.
3. Scholarship Selection Criteria
A. Selection will be based on academic performance in descending order, regardless of the student's financial support tier.
B. Tie-breaker Criteria:
1st Priority: Higher GPA in the previous semester.
2nd Priority: Higher number of credits earned in the previous semester.
3rd Priority: Higher cumulative GPA.
4th Priority: Higher total number of credits earned.
5th Priority: Higher academic year.
