[Center for Teaching & Learning] CALL 9th Session – “Excel Basics” Participant Recruitment

 Hello, students of the Catholic University of Korea!

The Center for Teaching and Learning is offering the 9th session of the 2025 CALL Excel Basics special lecture as follows.
 CALL (Computer Aided Learning Laboratory) is a computer skills education program provided by the Center to enhance students’ employability, entrepreneurship, and academic capabilities.

Students who wish to learn Excel thoroughly — from basic functions to practical formulas frequently used in the workplace — are encouraged to participate.



📅 Schedule & Venue

  • Date: December 1 (Mon) & December 2 (Tue), 18:00–21:00 (3 hours × 2 sessions)

  • Venue: Maria Hall, Room M304 (Offline course)

Session 1: December 1, 2025 (Mon), 18:00–21:00
 Session 2: December 2, 2025 (Tue), 18:00–21:00




📝 Application Period

November 10 (Mon) – November 20 (Thu), 2025, by 23:59 (Limited to 45 participants on a first-come, first-served basis)

  • If seats become available after the deadline, late applications may be accepted via phone or email.

  • Course participation details will be sent individually by text message and email on November 21 (Fri) morning.

🎁 Benefits

  • 6 hours credited toward Self-making Job Portfolio (for those who attend 85% or more and complete the satisfaction survey)

  • 2 ELP points per session (maximum 10 CALL program points per semester)




⚠️ Notes and Guidelines

  • This special lecture will be conducted offline; attendance in both sessions is required.

  • Unexcused absences may result in restrictions on participation in future programs.

  • Even with full attendance, students whose total participation time is below 85% will not receive Self-making Job Portfolio credit.

  • A satisfaction survey will be conducted after the final session.

  • Unauthorized recording or distribution of the lecture is strictly prohibited.
